From Captain Judy

For me, every story begins and ends on the water. From my father’s days running boats in the 1940s to my own 61 years of chartering and fishing, I’ve lived a life filled with salt air, laughter, a few tall tales, and plenty of true ones!

Over the years, I’ve gathered these stories — some wild, some heartfelt, and all unforgettable — into books that share not just fishing adventures, but the colorful lives, lessons, and legends that shaped who I am today.

Whether I’m out on the water or sitting at my desk writing, every story I tell comes from real people, real fish, and real adventures. These books are pieces of my life — part saltwater, part history, and all heart.

If you’d like to order a copy, or just talk fishing, stories, or Savannah history, give me a call at 912-897-4921 (office) or 912-429-7671 (Captain Judy’s cell).

Let’s keep the stories — and the sea — alive, one tale at a time! 🌊🎣

Kicking Fish Tail Since 1956!

Inshore Fishing Techniques Presenting Old School Tools

This book’s fishing information has been proven over and over again — by fish and by fishermen! My daddy started honing these techniques back in 1948, and he was an excellent fisherman, both inshore and offshore.

I was lucky enough to have a father who believed in skipping the “fishing” part and moving me straight into catching! The rest is history — and if you look hard enough, the proof is there.

My Father, The Sea, & Me

It’s been over 30 years since I first published My Father, The Sea, and Me! A lot has happened since then — many have passed, many have grown older (and maybe a bit wiser). But one thing time can’t erase are the memories and true stories captured in these pages.

Take a journey back before 1992 and see where it all began.
